In the motor trade we are often faced with desperate individuals. Perhaps desperate is too strong a word but the reality is that many people are in a hurry to sell their car. “I need to sell my car fast” is chief amongst the catalogue of plaintive cries a motor trader may hear throughout the course of their daily business. The truth is most people who need to sell their car quickly have not done their homework and as a result are leaving themselves wide open to receiving a markedly reduced price for their car. If a seller let’s on to a buyer that they need to sell quickly for whatever reason then they are immediately placing themselves at a distinct disadvantage and the cards suddenly become heavily stacked in favour of the buyer, it’s a simple as that. A fire sale results in two things; a quick sale and a bargain.
